Rodney Randolph Jones Sr, 71, of Kingwood died Sunday, May 22, 2022 at home with loving family by his side.
He was born April 25, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Randolph C and Theresa Hrabak Jones.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He served in the US Marine Corp. and was a heavy equipment operator for Allegheny Wood Products. He enjoyed doing yard work, tinkering on his Jeep and hanging Christmas lights.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Johnson Jones; his son, Rodney Jones, Jr. of Reedsville; his daughter, Tanya Jones and companion, Greg Smith of Valley Point; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a cousin, Warren Jones of Cambridge, MD and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Corrine Royal.
Family will receive friends at Kingwood Funeral Home at 295 S. Price Street in Kingwood on Wednesday May 25, from 2–4 pm where services will be held at 4pm with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.
