Johnny Ray Uphold

Johnny Ray Uphold, 63, of Albright passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

He was born September 21, 1957, in Kingwood, a son of the late Howard and Lela Lipscomb Uphold.

Johnny was a very kind hearted loving person, loved by many and will be missed tremendously. He worked as the yard foremen at the Allegheny Wood Products Company.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ronda Sisler Uphold; four sons, Joshua Sisler, Tyler Uphold (Christine), Zachary Saunders (Michelle) and Chris Stevens; two daughters, Amanda Uphold Casteel and husband, Adam and Ashlee Saunders; eight grandchildren, Nevaeh, Olivia, Elaina, Montana, Cole Christopher, Gabe and Christian; a brother, Fred Uphold and wife, Linda; a sister, Shirley Howell and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bob Uphold, his sister, Ruby Strahin and two brothers in law, Fred Strahin and Lloyd Howell.

Friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Thursday, March 18, from 5-8 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11am in the Maplewood Cemetery.

During visitation masks and social distancing should be observed.
