Harry Wayne Simpson

Harry Wayne Simpson 73 of Fairmont and formerly of Preston County died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his home with family by his side.

He was born December 21, 1947, in Fellowsville, a son of the late Bradford and Dortha Funk Simpson.

Harry was a member of Labors  Local Construction Union #379 and had worked on several local construction jobs; he enjoyed watching TV, working on cars, gardening and farming.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Sheets Simpson; his daughters, Tina Savage and husband, Leroy of Grant Town and Tammy Bennett and husband, Mike of Newport, NC; his brothers, Roger Simpson of Tunnelton and Howard Simpson in OH; his sister, Wilma Colebank in PA and his granddaughter, Danielle Bennett of Newport.

He also preceded in death by his grandchildren, Olivia Bennett and Tyler Williams.

Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 12 noon to 2 pm the funeral hour with Robert Bolyard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Camp Ground Cemetery.
