Dwain Elvin Crouse

On Saturday December 11, 2021, Dwain Elvin Crouse loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 87 with loving family by his side.

Dwain was born December 20, 1933, in Mancos, CO. to Roy Elvin and Florence Ellen Hussey Crouse. He was an Accounting Clerk for Rollins Leasing Company.

He enlisted in the United States Army on April 8, 1952. stationed at FT. Bragg he met the love of his live, Marilyn Ruth Clark, married July 16, 1955. He was discharged July 1955 and eventually settled in Portland Oregon to raise his family.

In 1976 he was relocated to Wilmington, DE, where he retired in 1992 from Rollins Truck Leasing.  In 2009 he moved to Kingwood, to be near his daughter. This is where he would make his final journey with God to live in all eternity with his loving wife, parents, sisters, Edna Crouse Lantz and Doris Crouse Muzzy whom preceded him in death.

Dwain is survived by his son, David Roger Crouse of Portland, OR, daughter, Pamela Kay Weiger and husband, Ralph James Weiger Jr of Kingstown, RI., Pauline “Paula” Crouse Henry  of Kingwood and companion Keith Cramer and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends will meet at Browning Funeral Home, in Kingwood at Noon Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, to follow in precession to the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton for a Military Graveside Service at 1:00 PM.
