Douglas DeWayne Albright, 60 of Tunnelton lost his year- long battle with cancer on Friday, February 14, 2020 at his home with family by his side. His fight was not in vain during this time as Doug ask Jesus into his life. Although we are sad here, he is walking streets of gold with his Savior.
He was born January 26, 1960, in Kingwood, a son of the late George E. and Goldie Borgman Albright.
He is survived by seven siblings, Bob Albright and wife, Donna of Albright, George Albright and wife, Margie of Kingwood, Rosemary Helmick of Rowlesburg, Joy Ware and husband, Frank, of Valley Point, Gary Albright of the Howesville Community, Jackie Garletts and husband, Richard of Kingwood, Ronnie Albright of the Howesville Community and his beloved Cat, Sox.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Jean Greathouse and his brother-in-law, Hugh Helmick.
There will be a celebration of Doug’s life at 11 am on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Christian Evangelical Church, Birds Creek Road and Route 92, with a luncheon to follow the service.
Doug’s wishes to be cremated are under the direction of Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood.
