Charles "Chuck" Taylor

Charles “Chuck" Taylor, 71 of Kingwood passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 with his wife by his side.

He joined his late parents, Arnold Lawrence and Mary Kosovilka Taylor, his late sister, Marcia Taylor Gambatese, and his late niece Barbara Thompson.

Chuck was born February 20, 1950 in Amsterdam, OH.

 He is survived by his wife, Virginia Sue Uphold Taylor, two stepchildren, Logan and Tayler Maddocks; his daughter, Rachael Taylor; three sisters, Iris Taylor Michaelian, Carla Taylor Rhodes and Ronnie and Linda Taylor Enright and Bob; several nieces and nephews.  Charlie graduated from Tunnelton High School, Class of 1968.  He drove locally and long distance for various trucking companies.  Later he turned to cooking and worked for many years at Russ’s Ribs doing special events and catering.  He just recently started his own business with his food truck, “The Chuck Wagon”, where he showcased his natural talent for creating great tasting foods.

 Charlie's passion was Rock and Roll and he spent most of his young and middle years in a rock band, well known as “The Virgins”. Charlie will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at the Kingwood VFW on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 5 pm till 8 pm.
