Carolyn Sue (Westbrook) Sparenberg

Carolyn Sue Sparenberg, age 57, of Rowlesburg, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Armory, Mississippi, a daughter of the late James Sherman Westbrook, and Mildred Marie (Fletcher) Westbrook. Her husband, Joseph Robert Sparenberg, Jr, survives.  

Carolyn loved children and animals. She was a volunteer at the Rowlesburg School, and loved her dogs, Milkyway, Snowball, and Princess. She enjoyed playing games and especially spending time and helping her nieces and nephews. 

She is survived by:  one brother, Danny Westbrook and wife Lois of Masontown, two sisters Bonnie Haenftling and husband George of Accident, MD, and Betty Mayne and husband Joe of Tunnelton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Donna Westbrook Akers.

At Carolyn's request she was cremated.
