Anna Marie Moore, 91, of Kingwood died Sunday, January 26, 2020, at home with loving family by her side
She was born June 18, 1928 in Kingwood, the daughter of the late Charles Henry Hoffman and Annabelle Stump Hoffman.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Anna loved quilting, doing puzzles, playing her guitar, baking bread, working in her garden and singing gospel songs. She was Pentecostal.
Anna is survived by a son, Joseph Moore, Sr. ; a daughter, Edna Wilhelm Davis and husband Delmar; all of Kingwood; a brother, Clarence Hoffman of Kingwood; two sisters, Jean Weekley of Kingwood and Sue Harrison of Tunnelton; five grandchildren, Joseph Moore, Jr, Nick Moore, Tammy Childers, Richard Wilhelm and Steve Wilhelm; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall R. Moore on May 6, 2000; and eight brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Tuesday January 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 29, 2020 at 1pm with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
