Sandra Kay (Lewis) Childers

Sandra Kay Childers, 60, of Tunnelton passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

She was born April 13, 1959, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Patricia Ann McGinnis Lewis Buseman and the late James Junior Lewis.

Sandra was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. She worked as a cashier for Save-A- Lot in Kingwood.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Childers in 2010.

She leaves behind her son, Michael Gallagher; two brothers, James Allen Lewis  and Joseph Porter Lewis and wife, Karen; three sisters, Kathryn R. Lewis Beckman, Georgia Lucille Lewis Pingley and Pamela Sue Lewis and  three grandchildren.

A memorial service for Sandra will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1pm in the Faith Fellowship, Assembly of God Church, 8902 South Preston Highway, Tunnelton with Reverend Phillip L. Rhodes officiating.  A dinner will follow in the fellowship hall and you may bring a covered dish.
