Patricia Louise Shrout , of Kingwood passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with loving family by her side.
She was born March 11, 1936, in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Elena Frances Black.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to read, dance, sing karaoke and cook, especially cinnamon rolls and was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, the Preston County Senior Citizens and the Kingwood VFW Auxiliary Post 826.
She is survived by her daughters and spouses, Angela Louise Sypolt and Kenneth of Kingwood, Cheryl Lynn Crane and Joe and Trina Dawn Means and William, all of Valley Point and Billie Sue Johnson and Troy of Kingwood; her brother, Richard Shrout and wife, Sandra of Kingwood; two sisters, Dottie Close and Leonard and Terrie Wilhelm and Scott, all of Kingwood; eight grandchildren, Kristy Noonan, Keith Sypolt, Bethany Walls, Lacey Steadman, Camden Means, Autumn Means-Scott, Kayla Johnson and Jesse Johnson; eleven great grandchildren, Keilan and Victoria Noonan, Elizabeth, Katelyn and Danielle Sypolt, Jack and Jake Walls, Reese Steadman, Aubriana Reel-Johnson, Payton and Adley Johnson and her fur babies, Tara and Baby.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William A. Shrout, her step-father, Gay Shrout and two sisters, Jean Uphold and Betty Black.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers, Geneva, Pam, Krystal, Shayne and Mia.
The family will greet friends at a celebration of life event to be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 1 to 4 pm. at the Kingwood VFW, Post 826, on Route 26 South.
