Pastor Fred R. Cady, Jr.

Pastor Fred R. Cady, Jr., 76 of Albright entered his heavenly home peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

 He was the Pastor of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Valley Point, for 24 years.

He was a loving husband, father and uncle. He loved working with his hands. He had a heart for God and loved serving the community through his church. His favorite Bible verse was 1 John 5:12 “He that hath the son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” His favorite hymn was “Higher Ground”.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Constance Sue Durkee Cady; his daughter, Dawn Graves and her husband, Bob of Albright; his sister, Bobbi Jacobs of Brookfield and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred R. Cady, Sr., and Caroline K. Katzmarek Cady both of Willowbrook and a brother in-law, Bruce Jacobs of Brookfield.

Family and friends may call at Independent Baptist Church on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9am to 10:30am the funeral hour with Pastor Terry Cumberland officiating.  Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
