Laura White Obituary

Laura E. (Pooch) White, 81 of Kingwood, went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, March 10th with her loving family by her side.

She was born March 24, 1936, in Morgantown to parents Wilber & Ella Summers.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She retired from Preston Memorial Hospital after nearly 40 years of service.Her greatest joy in life was spending time and making memories with her family.She attended New Life Ministries Church in Reedsville and dearly loved her church family.

She is Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William (Bill) White of Kingwood; one son and daughter in-law, Bob White and wife, Shelly of Fairmont; one daughter and son in-law, Deb Kelly and husband, Larry of Reedsville; three grandsons, Wade and Amanda White of Terra Alta, Robbie White and Alaina of Grindstone, PA and Jason Kelly and Angela of Reedsville; six great-grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Brody, Rowan, Jersey and Quinton; also surviving are three sisters and one brother, Rosa and Edward Gibson of Masontown, Jean and Bill Beardslee of Kingwood and Mary and Charles Murry of CA., Jack & Karen Summers of Morgantown and a dear friend and former daughter in-law, Debra Mayne of Masontown.

Laura was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Laughlin and Pete Summers and a sister, Helen McMillen.

Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home, 201 E. Main Street, Kingwood on Tuesday, March 13, from 11 am till 2pm and 5-8 pm and on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 11 am till 12 noon the funeral hour with Pastor Mike Charlton and Chaplin David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery.
