Kenneth James Wakefield I

Kenneth James Wakefield I, 60, of Tunnelton died Monday, October 1, 2018 at Preston Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 9, 1957, in Oakland MD, a son of the late Harvey and Susan Ann Michaels Wakefield.

He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.  He was a truck driver for Preston Contracting, loved to fish, hunt and be with his family.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Wakefield, II and wife, Latasha of Galloway, his daughter, Laura Martin of Tunnelton; two brothers, Eddie  and Thomas; three sisters, Cheryl (Peanut), Missy and Sis and five grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Knotts Wakefield in 2015.

The family will receive friends at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 12 noon till 2 pm the funeral hour with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.  Interment will follow in the Camp Ground Cemetery.
