Arthur Guy Sigley

Arthur Guy Sigley, 80, of Rowlesburg died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Morgantown Health & Rehab.

He was born January 5, 1938, in Rowlesburg, a son of the late Ace Bronson and Bertha Eva Funk Sigley.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. He served in the U S Army during the Vietnam Era. He was an equipment operator for Limestone mine.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Elizabeth Alice Goff Sigley; two sons, Steven Sigley and wife, Sheri and Arthur James Sigley and wife, Robin; his daughter, Tina Marie Goff and husband, Robert; a brother, Ronald Knotts; three sisters, Karen Sue Flynn, Shirley Colebank and Linda Pyles; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Jean Sigley; two brothers, and two sisters.

Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home, Burke Chapel in Rowlesburg on Friday March 9, 2018 from 12 noon till 2 pm the funeral hour with Pastor Carroll Harvey. Interment will follow in the Etam Cemetery.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Preston County VFW Post, Preston County Chapter 977, Vietnam Veterans of America and the WVANG military Funeral Honors.
